The Beat the Streets Program is a cooperative effort between non-profit organizations, corporate businesses, and community groups focusing on enhancing the well being of children living within the boundaries of the Columbus Public School District.
The Mission of the Beat the Streets program is to expand and develop wrestling throughout the city of Columbus beginning at the elementary age through young adulthood. Our goal is to provide healthy opportunities for school age boys and girls to participate in the activity of wrestling and to promote the development of youth into responsible, educated, healthy, and empowered citizens. The ultimate goal is for these young individuals to become the future leaders of tomorrow.
The Beat the Streets program provides its participants a healthy extra-curricular activity. Participants will enjoy many enriching experiences and interaction with successful role models. This will motivate and inspire these young people to believe in their dreams and to put their whole heart into achieving them. Our dream is to provide the youth of Columbus with the opportunity to benefit from their involvement with wrestling.
